Karolina Schneider is an Associate Professor of Management. The enthusiasm for business is rooted in her family background. As a child growing up, she was inspired watching her parents operate their own businesses. It was their hard work and persistence that helped shape the person she is today.

In 2011, she received an opportunity to work as an assistant professor in the Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship (PCBE) teaching marketing. Prior to joining Lindenwood, Dr. Schneider worked in retail, human resource management, and education. She holds an undergraduate degree in International Business, International Studies, and Political Science; master’s in Public Management; a doctorate in Educational Leadership; and a graduate certificate in digital marketing.

Dr. Schneider was first introduced to teaching when she interned at the International Institute of St. Louis. Her teaching philosophy is pretty simple: encourage participation, make the material as relevant as possible, be open to change, and always have a good sense of humor.
